Hello Friends

Welcome to The Water I Give by Collette Allen.

I am so honored by your presence. 

I’m finally Stepping Into The Circle.  Yep, I’m coming out of my comfort zone and coming into my calling.  I’m taking the plunge. I have created this space to offer words of hope, encouragement, and yes, some provocation as well to stir you unto good works.

For so long I wanted to write, and this space is a fulfillment of that desire.   My first blog Stepping Into The Circle will detail that journey and a start to many others.  Come along with me as I use my voice to share truth.   Not just my truth, but God’s Truth based on the words He’s written in my story.  And, what an awesome and incredible story it is!

Part of that truth is that, I am blessed to be married to my husband Robert, (I call him my Bruce Wayne) for the past 35 years.  When we got engaged, his mom told me he needed someone who could cook, clean, and entertain his guests.  I would like to think he got that and a whole lot more.  We have had many ups and downs, but we are very committed to loving and respecting each other. I can honestly say, we are living our best life together.

In addition, I have given him three beautiful children, Tiana, Reana and Robert Jr.  We have two precious granddaughters, Chantéy and Laila and what a crazy and fun-loving family we are.

When I am not buried in the pages of a book, I enjoy traveling, dining out (even then, I’m sometimes buried in a book), playing board games with family and connecting with the sistership in my church.  I have been blessed to serve alongside my husband in ministry and have spoken at various conferences and retreats over the years, in addition to my local church.
