Today is Friday the 13th.  Some people hold fast to the belief that this day is a bad omen.

I don’t know what’s happening in your life right now but, here are some words to assure you that no Friday the 13th, no karma, no bad luck, no voodoo, no obeah, no spirits can harm us, as God’s Beloved. 

BLOOM

John 14:20 tells us, “On that day you will know that I am in my Father, you are in me, and I am in you.” 

That’s right. When we are a child of God, We. Are. In. Him! 

How About That! 

I never really pondered that thought before.  I knew God is in me, but knowing I am in Him, takes it to another level. 

I am in God!!!

Yes, Me, Collette

I am in His heart.

I’m in His care.

I am in His arms.

I am on His mind and in His thoughts.

I am in His protection.

My name is on His tongue.

I take up a unique place in God.

And – that lets me know I’m extraordinary.

I’m honored,

Remembered,

Loved,

Cherished.

And I belong.

YOU too, are in God. You have a special place In Him.

A place no one else can occupy.  A place reserved for you.

Claim it!

Live it!

Know it!

Feel It!

Celebrate it!

Cherish it!

Hold on to it!

Be assured of it!

Be convinced of it!

Believe It!

Breathe it!

Yes,

You and I,

We,

Are in God.

Expand into Him.

And, rest contentedly in Him.

Whatever we might be excluded from,

Whoever might overlook, dismiss, or reject us –

We can console ourselves with the knowledge –

We Are In God.

Whatever or Whoever comes against us, know this – they must first get to God.

Why?

Because we are In Him.

SHOUT

I don’t know what the Isley Brothers were thinking about when they wrote the song “Shout.”

But when I think about what being In God entails, the words of that song comes to me.  I’ll sing it now!

“You (God) make me wanna (Shout)

Kick my heels up and (Shout)

Throw my hands up and (Shout)

Throw my head back and (Shout)

Come on now (Shout)

(Shout) a little bit softer now

(SHOUT) a little bit LOUDER now

(SHOUT) a little bit LOUDER now

Jump up and SHOUT now

Everybody SHOUT now.”

This Friday the 13th, or on any other day, don’t be consumed with doom and gloom.

Instead,

BLOOM!

Because,

God is in us, and we are In Him.

Go SHOUTING and dancing for joy,

With The Water I Give.

John 15:4-5, “Remain in me and I in you.  Just as a branch cannot produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me.  I am the vine; you are the branches.  The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me.”
